Connect Knowledge Base Tool to ChatGPT (Public)

This page explains how to integrate the Knowledge Base Tool with ChatGPT using an MCP Server configured public connection (without authorization). It outlines the essential setup steps required to establish a seamless, direct connection.

Requirements

  • ChatGPT subscription

  • ChatGPT Pro Plan or or any higher-tier plan

Pro plan or any higher-tier plan is required to enable Developer Mode.

Pricefx MCP Server

The Pricefx MCP Server is available using the following URL:

https://mcp.pricefx.com/mcp

Turn On Developer Mode

  1. Open browser with ChatGPT.

  2. Go to Settings > Apps & Connectors > Advanced settings.

  3. Turn on the Developer mode.

Create Connection

  1. Go to Settings > Apps & Connectors.

  2. Click Create app.

  3. In the New app menu:

    1. Enter the Name.

    2. Enter a Description (optional).

    3. Enter https://mcp.pricefx.com/mcp into the MCP Server URL.

    4. Select No authentication option in Authentication.

    5. Check I understand and want to continue option.

  4. Click Create.
