PlatformManager version is displayed in the application menu, at the bottom, both for the backend (BE) and frontend (FE).
Whenever there is a new PlatformManager version deployed, you will see a persistent notification in the application.
PlatformManager checks for new version after login every 60 seconds and there is an automatic browser refresh if a new version is deployed.
