Automatic Actions
An Agent regularly scans data and applies specified rules (alert conditions). If alert conditions are met during the Agent’s run, the Agent automatically creates predefined Actions.
Manual Actions
Actions can also be created manually from the Analytics Data Table, Charts, Dashboard Portlets or Pricefx Copilot. For more information see Actions. Manual Actions can come from beyond Agents context. Actions can also come from:
-
Actions tabs on Quotes
-
Agreements
-
Actions page
Granularity and Limits
By default, Actions are created per row in Detected Insights, and can then be grouped and limited via Group Actions by and Keep Top Actions, with hard and configurable limits (20 default, 500 system cap). Detected items that do not become Actions are explicitly dropped.
Re‑creation Behavior
Rules for when similar cases are not re‑created (Similar case will not be recreated before, Period + Interval) are documented in Similar Case Re‑Creation.
Follow‑up Rules
-
The Agent does not automatically re-create the same kind of Actions every time it is run:
-
The same kind of Actions that have been created previously and are still open (or rejected, blocked, postponed) are not re-created.
-
Actions that have been marked as done are re-created if more time has elapsed from their original due date than the set schedule period. For example, if the original due date of an action is April 30 and the Period in the Schedule section is set for 1 month, Actions will start to be re-created after May 30.
-
-
Previously postponed Actions are reopened if the due date is in the past.
