Setup Model Workflow (Insights Dashboards)

The workflow definitions required for Insights Dashboards are managed using the Accelerate Approval Workflow Package, which enables automated workflow configuration, approval rules, and history tracking for various pricing processes.

By default, the workflow is empty, and any model that is submitted will be automatically approved.

Setup Custom Model Workflow

Add Approval Workflow

  1. Go to Company Parameters.

  2. Search for ApprovalWorkflowSetup parameter.

  3. In the Company Parameter Values menu:

    1. Click Add Record.

    2. In the Add New Company Parameter Value menu:

      1. Enter Model into the Workflow Type field.

      2. Enter numerical value into the Step ID field (Required).

      3. Enter desired approval step name into the Step Label field.

      4. Enter desired reason into the Step Reason field.

      5. In the Skip option select one of the following options:

        • Yes

        • No

      6. In the Step Type select Approval option.

    3. Click Add.

Add Approvers

  1. Go to Company Parameters.

  2. Search for Approvers parameter.

  3. In the Company Parameter Value menu:

    1. Click Add Record.

    2. In the Add New Parameter Value menu:

      1. Enter Model into the Workflow Type field (Required).

      2. Enter numerical value into the Step ID field (Required).

      3. Enter numerical value into the Approver ID field (Required).

      4. In the Approver Type select one of the following options:

        • USER

        • USER GROUP

        • BUSINESS ROLE

    3. Enter appropriate value for the Approver Name field.

    4. In the Skip option select one of the following options:

      • Yes

      • No

    5. Click Add.

Add Approval Condition

  1. Go to Company Parameters.

  2. Search for ApprovalCondition.

  3. In the Company Parameter Value menu:

    1. Click Add Record.

    2. In the Add New Parameter Value menu:

      1. Enter Model into the Workflow Type field (Required).

      2. Enter numerical value into the Step ID field (Required).

      3. Enter numerical value into the Condition ID field (Required).

      4. Enter desired description into the Condition Description field.

      5. Enter condition into the Condition field.

      6. In the Skip option select one of the following options:

        1. Yes

        2. No

      7. Click Add.
