How to Add or Update Meta Description of Data Source Fields

The Meta Description field provides more relevant and accurate support for the Pricefx Copilot and for the Agents. The metadata in the Meta Description field are consumed by the Pricefx Copilot. The purpose of the Meta Description field is to bridge the gap between technical data names (such as CUST_ID_123) and their real-world business meaning. This enables the Pricefx Copilot to understand the intent behind a user's question and to deliver more intelligent assistance. The field is optional and limited to 1,000 characters.

1. Go to Analytics > Data Manager > Data Sources.

2. Select the Data Source you want to add or update.

3. In the Fields overview screen, select the field you want to add or update.

4. Click Change Meta Description.

5. In the Meta Description menu:

   1. Enter or update the meta description.

   2. Click Save.

6. Click Deploy.
