Insights Dashboards is the next-generation pricing analytics accelerator. It delivers a unified, pricing-focused set of dashboards that cover customer analytics, revenue and margin analysis, performance diagnostics, and trends in a single solution. It is designed to substitute existing Sales Insights and Customer Insights dashboards and provide a more integrated, pricing-centric experience.
Unlike Sales Insights, which focuses on generic sales reporting across multiple sales dashboards, Insights Dashboards concentrates on pricing performance and opportunity discovery (Health Score, Margin %, Price realization, Pricing opportunity, Cross Sell) and on guiding users from high-level overviews down to detailed customer and product views. Compared to Customer Insights, Insights Dashboards provides a more streamlined, pricing-oriented view of customers and products, with configuration and logic tailored specifically for pricing analytics and margin management.
Use the following table as a practical guide when deciding which accelerator to use in a project:
|
Accelerator |
Primary Audience |

|
Insights Dashboards |
Pricing Analysts, Pricing Managers |
Four linked dashboards for customer analytics, revenue & margin analysis, performance diagnostics, and trend monitoring. |
Pricing performance monitoring, margin leakage analysis, identifying underperforming customers/products, quantifying pricing and cross-sell opportunities, triggering Agents/Actions from insights. |
Transactional datamart with core pricing fields (product, customer, date, invoice price, margin, quantity) and optional master data for richer customer/product hierarchies. |
|
Sales Insights |
Sales Operations, Sales Managers |
Set of standard Sales Insights Dashboards focused on sales performance views (e.g., period-over-period, regional revenue and margin, waterfall). |
General sales reporting, regional performance comparison, period-over-period sales analysis, high-level sales KPIs for sales leadership. |
Transaction data with sales-oriented attributes (product ID, customer ID, invoice price, region/country/city, optional waterfall fields), plus optional master data setup packages. |
|
Customer Insights |
Customer Success, Account Managers, Pricing & Sales combined teams |
Customer-centric views across multiple dashboards (global view, customer detail, portfolio, waterfall), emphasizing customer health and profitability. |
Deep analysis of individual customers and portfolios, customer profitability and lifetime value, detailed waterfall and margin structures at customer level. |
Similar transactional and master data foundations, but with configuration and dashboards tailored specifically to Customer Insights (separate accelerator and documentation). |
In new implementations, Pricefx recommends starting with Insights Dashboards as the primary pricing analytics accelerator. Existing projects using Sales Insights or Customer Insights can gradually transition by deploying Insights Dashboards alongside the legacy accelerators, validating parity on key KPIs, and then retiring older dashboards once users adopt the new pricing-focused views.
