If the environment is out of compliance, then necessary steps need to be taken to bring the environment back into compliance with Pricefx N-1 policy. As part of this phase, the following questions should be discussed:

  • Is my environment compliant?

  • If my environment non-compliant, how do I achieve compliance?

  • Who can assist in regaining compliance?

  • What happens if my environment remains non-compliant?

Defining Out of Compliance

An environment is considered out of compliance when your PROD environment version is beyond the Pricefx N-1 Policy. For example, when v11 is released then any version lower than v10 will be considered to be non-compliant.

When a customer’s environment is non-compliant, they will enter the Pricefx N-1 Grace Period. During this time they will have 30 days to either submit an acceptable upgrade plan to maintain their compliance or their environment will be subject to an automatic upgrade.

Achieving N-1 Compliance

Maintaining N-1 compliance in a Shared Environment happens automatically as soon as the latest release is available. However, if customers are in a Private Environment, then they are responsible for maintaining their N-1 compliance.

Additionally, Pricefx offers a variety of N-1 Compliance Assistance Plans to customers to support them in upgrading and ensuring their environments are N-1 compliant.
