When creating a Quote you can easily add similar or complementing products. The Quoting module can be configured to offer upsell and cross-sell products based on the selected customer and products.
In order to enable this feature, please get in touch with our support team, as the cross-sell algorithm will have to be adjusted to your transactional data and enabled by one of our Pricing Scientists.
How to add upsell and cross-sell products to your Quote:

When creating a Quote, select a customer, segment or product for which upsell or cross-sell suggestions are defined.

Select the Add Recommended Items option under the Add Items button on the Items tab.

On the Recommended tab of the Select Products dialog, you will be able to add the suggested products. Note that if there is a product filter logic defined, it applies also to recommended products.
Configuration
The recommended products are supplied by a generic calculation logic which fetches the right products from:

Product extensions, if there is a strong correlation between the products (e.g., customer who purchases a wallpaper will very likely also buy a glue).

Company Parameters created by an Optimization model. The product suggestions can be created in four different ways:

Products recommended for the selected customer based on transaction history.

Products recommended for the segment of the selected customer based on transaction history.

Products related to selected products (often bought together) based on transaction or Quote history.

Products related to selected products (often bought together) based on manual relations through Product references. – This option is planned for future releases.
