Configure Dependency Mapping Properties

In the Configuration Wizard, several modules require you to configure dependency mapping properties.

Set the following fields:

  1. The data for different pricing levels is stored in separated tables or one common table?

    • Select None if there are no different values for various Dependency Levels attributes (e.g., Dependency Level name, dimension, preference1, …).

    • Select Table if data is stored in separate tables per Dependency Level.

    • Select Lookup if data for different Dependency Levels is stored together in a single table, distinguished by a field value.

  2. Select the field of your pricing level to identify data for it – For Table or Lookup options, specify which Dependency Level property/field distinguishes between tables (for Table) or records (for Lookup) containing values for the same product but for different Dependency Levels. For example, distinguish cost data by Dependency Level Name, Dimension, Preference1, etc.

  3. Select the field in your dataset that identifies the pricing level – For Lookup option, specify which field in the table distinguishes records for the same product but different Dependency Levels.
