The Price Guidance Accelerator deploys the Price Guidance Model Class, the related logics, and a data-mapping prompt that pre-fills the model's default source and field mapping.
Prerequisites
Before you start the installation of the Accelerator, ensure:
-
Your partition is on Pricefx version 14.0 or later.
-
An appropriate Datamart or Data Source containing transaction history is available. See Data Requirements (Optimization - Price Guidance) for the field list.
Deployment
-
Get access to PlatformManager and target partition, as described in common Installation Prerequisites (Common for Accelerators).
-
Access PlatformManager at https://platform.pricefx.com/ and log in.
-
Go to Marketplace and find the Optimization - Price Guidance package.
-
Click the accelerator package tile, select the partition where you want to deploy the package, and confirm the deployment dialog to start.
ℹ️ For a detailed description of all deployment options, see PlatformManager documentation. -
Data Mapping form - during deployment, a form appears prompting you to select the default Transaction Source and map its columns (Product, Customer, Transaction Date,
Revenue, Quantity, Profit, Target, Target Type). These values pre-populate the Definition tab when a Price Guidance model is created on this partition, and they can be overridden in any individual model.
Note: The Accelerator uses a Python Engine image. If the image cregistry.pricefx.eu/engineering/pricefx-python-engine/datascience was not yet enabled for your partition, the deployment process takes care of configuring it. Please refer to Python Engine for more information.
The Accelerator also installs three shared library packages automatically as dependencies: shared-groovy-library, optimization-common-libraries, and dashboard-accelerator-library. No extra action is required.
