Import Manager Workflow Logic

The Import Manager workflow logic, like the general workflow logic, defines approval workflow steps, conditions, approvers, etc.

To create a new Import Manager workflow logic:

  1. Go to Administration > Logics > Workflow Logics > Import Manager Workflow Logics.

  2. Click the Add Logic button.

  3. In the Name field, choose a unique name for the logic. Optionally, enter the logic’s Label.

  4. In the Target Object field, select a specific object for whose import approval workflow this logic will be used. Leave the field empty if you want this logic to be applied to all object types.

  5. In the Target Specifics field, you can specify with more precision to which objects the logic will be applied. For Product Extensions, Customer Extensions, Seller Extensions and Company Parameters you can select the name of the table, for Price Lists and Live Price Grids you can select the Price Setting Type. This option is not available for Products, Customers, Sellers and Manual Price Lists – there will be no selectable item in the drop-down list and the value will always be Default All.

  6. Set the Valid After date and the Status (Active or Inactive).

    info If there are more workflow logics set as Active for a certain object type, then the logic's Valid After date relative to the document's Target Date is the deciding factor. You can choose whether the valid logic is picked based on the document's effective date (and not the submit date). This is set in General Settings in Configuration.

  7. Click on the Name of the logic.

  8. Create the workflow logic’s elements.
