There are two ways to deploy a Pricefx configuration project to a partition: from Pricefx Studio in IntelliJ IDEA, or automatically with CI/CD pipelines.
Set Up Your Project
Configuration projects live in Git. In IntelliJ IDEA, click File > New > Project from Version Control and paste in the repository URL. Then connect to a partition and generate pom.xml by right-clicking the root folder and selecting Pricefx > Create pom.xml.
For more information see Create New Project.
Deploy from Pricefx Studio
Pricefx Studio provides a graphical user interface within IntelliJ IDEA for deploying your project. You can select exactly the files you want to deploy, to one or more partitions at once, which makes deployment fast during development.
For more information see Deploy Logics.
Deploy Automatically with Pipelines
For QA and PROD partitions, use a CI/CD pipeline so that Git stays the source of truth for what is deployed. Pipelines use the Pricefx Packaging Tool (pfxpackage), a command line tool that runs in Docker, to test and deploy your project automatically when you commit to version control.
