When we use the Pfm MarketPlace Template Routes to create an integration, the folder structure on the SFTP server will be created for us automatically. The SFTP server folder structure represents the area where the inbound CSV files will be placed and/or the outbound CSV files created.
-
Upon creation of the Integration Manager instance, we would have received an email confirming access to our SFTP server ( see below ) …a Connection Instance for this default SFTP server is created for us, in Integration Manager ( under the Connections tab ) automatically by Integration Manager.
NOTE: The following steps are not necessary unless the customer has requested that you use an SFTP server other than the default one which is created automatically when create a new Integration Manager instance.
-
Assuming you wish or need to create a new SFTP server instance object, select the Integration instance desired and then click on the :
Connections option:
-
To create our connection, click on the New Connection button.
Choose the SFTP connection type from the list.
-
Add the access information from the for the new SFTP server using information provided by the customer:
-
Next, we define the file path. Since this connection will be for uploading Product master data we will define it as shown below:
We need to update FTP path to reflect the location on the FTP server where uploaded file will be stored. All IM servers created by Pricefx have a default path of /filearea, we will append to this the folder. Thus, for our integration data and this will generate the SFTP path of /filearea/inbound.
-
Finally, we add the Port from the SFTP email:
NOTE: Your port address may be different than the value shown here, review the SFTP email to be sure you use the correct value.
-
Click Test Connection button.
-
Click Save & Deploy button.
