This feature enhances the Bar & Line (Chart Type) by allowing you to set a separate display Type (Bar, Line, or Spline) for each value when the Color by Group option is enabled, making it easier to emphasize key data series while keeping the overall chart readable.
Description
When you configure a Bar & Line chart and turn on the Color by Group option, you can define a Type for each value in the color-by grouping.
The default Type for each value is Bar.
You can mix different types within the same chart, for example showing one group as bars and another as a line or spline to highlight trends versus absolute values in a single view. This allows dashboard creators to better represent different data series in a combined Bar & Line visualization. For example, you can display quarterly profit by Customer Class where some customer classes are shown as bars (for direct comparison of volumes) and others as lines (to highlight trend or key segments) in the same chart.
